Dal/Parippu curry
Ingredients
Moong dhal-1/2 cup
Sliced onion-1
Green chilly-2
Chopped tomato-1
Garam masala-1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
a pinch of turmeric powder
Coconut oil-2 tsp
Mustard-1 tsp
Cumin seeds-1 tsp
Urud dal-1 tsp
Curry leaves-7-8
Dry chillies-3
Instructions
In a skillet heat oil, add mustard when it crackles add cumin seeds,urud dal,curry leaves and red chillies.
In a pressure cooker pour some water and add dal,choppe onion,sliced tomato,green chilly,turmeric and salt,and also add the above mentioned mix of mustard,curry leaves etc.Keep boiling for 10 minutes.Dal curry is ready.U can have it with chappathi or rice or ghee rice.
